Rose Parrakeet

The Skyote derives some of its design layout and look to the Parrakeet, designed and built by Jack A. Rose in 1931, production beginning in 1936 and resulting in 8 completed aircraft.   Rights to the Parrakeet were sold to Foster Hannaford in 1949, who offered the aircraft in kit form as the Hannaford Bee.  The rights transferred to Rhinehart-Rose Mfg in 1968, when 5 final factory-made Parrakeets were built.
